I attended a beautiful conversation on the depiction of war and disaster in Black lit featuring James McBride and a very poetic and intelligent Chris Abani. I chopped it up with Colson Whitehead, I shook Victor LaValle's hand, and I spent over hundred dollars on books. 'Twas memorable!
