You guessed it...I met Erykah Badu in person tonight and she called me, "Sidik"! She's coming out with a new album and yours truly gets to do the bio again. The new joint is called New Amerykah: Return of the Ankh and judging from what I heard at the listening party (where I saw Corinne Bailey Rae, Dame Dash, and others and yes I'm namedropping, unabashedly)...shit is a gem. My favorite quote of the night from her: "Please don't record any of this music on your cell phone or laptop...let a bitch make some money!"
