The ballot or the bullet? ‘Clef chooses both for his upcoming album If I Were President: The Haitian Experience. The former Haiti presidential candidate dishes out “Election Time” and “Death Threats”, just in time for the November polls. The latter, comes off a bit ominous as Wyclef sings, “All I wanted to be was commander-in-chief/ But it seems like they wanna see me six deep.” Hope the Haiti saga is behind him. If not, “Election Time” could at least galvanize us Americans for the midterm races.
